Dr Rob has been doing science shows at schools for the last 20 years, and knows it is a great way to get the school talking about science. 
​With a mixture of big experiments, real-world links and plenty of audience participation, students will be enthralled. ​

Amazing Materials (Prep - Year 9)
A show all about some of the remarkable materials discovered or developed by science. The show includes:

Solids, Liquids and Gases (Prep - Year 9)
Amazing demonstrations of the different states of matter. The show includes:​

  • Instant soft-drink
  • Liquid nitrogen
  • The instant cloud
  • Hydrogen boom
  • and lots more.
Fantastical Physics (Prep - Year 9)
Its all about the forces around us and some of the more interesting things they can do.

  • Defying gravity (or so it seems)

Cost, Requirements, Availability and Booking
​The cost is $6/student, with minimums booking requirement of 60 students ($360).
Shows are designed to go for approximately 1 hour (this is flexible), and are tailored to suit the age of the audience.
Shows available to SE Qld, within an approx. 90 minute drive of Brisbane.

Rob Bell captivated our students with his high-energy performance, blending science, storytelling, and charisma. Even those who usually linger at the back of the room were drawn in, completely engaged by his presentation. This was just as true for the Year 12s as it was for the Year 7s. He is the man to excite students about all things STEM! I wouldn’t hesitate to invite Rob back again this year.

Science Education that's online and hands-on.
Experimentary is a science education website aimed at making it easier (and more enjoyable) to teach science at primary schools. As one of the founders, it is something Dr Rob is quite passionate about because it is a great new way to get kids interested in science and to eventually create a school based science community.

The main aim is to get kids doing science. Actually performing experiments and keeping track of their results. It is all packaged up in the digital world which means it is easier, accessible and constantly updated.

Experimentary provides teachers with terrific videos exploring the step by step approach to an authentic investigation. Great for teachers to be shown how they may help students approach a topic and how variables could be manipulated. A real confidence builder underpinned by rigorous science.
